Generating VECP Acceptance

Clean and professional looking submissions
I once met a person that told me that they made a decision about a person as they walked in the room. I asked how, and they said they looked at their shoes. If the toes where shined they cared about initial appearances. The heals, they cared about the total. They wanted total.
In one company, if they thought about hiring you, they would have a dinner meeting with you. The manager was present and they would watch if you seasoned your meal before you tasted it. If you did, you weeded out as you made decisions before you examined all options.
They were all wrong. I could not care less if my shoes are shined. In the first case, I am looking to make the business money. My expertise and track record are the issue. Not my speln, not me accent, not anything at all, execpt my expertise and track record. In the second case, I like very spicy foods. I know that the restaurant will never meet my spicy standards as they, as they should be, are trying to meet norms. I start with adding a bit of pepper, test, and then add accordingly. I do not need to test if it is bland, I know. THAT judgement, is based upon the value process. "Do not waste time on stupid stuff. It will not profit you." The more time you waste on learned experiences, the more wasted cost you will incur.
Are you saying appearance does not count?
Unfortunately, no. A professional appearance will generate an acceptance, often, even if the data does not support it. That is one of the enhanced options purposes. You can generate a VERY professional and attractive report. Should it mater, no. Does it? Unfortunately, yes.
How much does data count?
In the end, this is the total basis for everything. We know of accepted million dollar VECPs that were submitted with a felt tip pen on the back of a beer stained napkin, a hand shake, and less. Our systems are designed to help you meet the data issues. However, bottom line, convince the CO, and you have a sale. A caveat, you can convenience the CO, but if they get second guessed, you do not want to end up in a dispute. Again, using our systems includes both sides.
